I watched this yesterday. Everytime my attention waned (which is often with me) and I thought I would turn it off - the video sucked me back in. It is pretty intriguing!
I like it because it is perfect for undergrads--it gives a really short but quite good summary of what Web 2.0 is and alludes to some of the big questions that come with it. It's certainly not comprehensive, but it's an excellent starting point. Which, from what I can gather, is what the producer intended in the first place. And it's fun.
This is just AWESOME!! I have to show it to my husband, he's going to LOVE it. Thanks for making me think SO MUCH! Well, and I haven't even seen the documentary that these short films are referring to.
This film makes me think how little I'm using the technology provided by Web 2.0, how little I know of it, and its power. Of course I'm blogging, but that's just one facet, one way to use it.
I particularly liked the questions/issues posed at the very end.

Lillian, This is the original film, and "Academia 2.0" is a response to it.
